We are one of the working groups belonging to the Cheshire West and Chester Learning Disabilities Partnership Board. We meet six times a year. Board members include people from the council, health services, police, social services and others. We speak to people to find out issues and work with other Board members to try and find solutions.
We have introduced a yellow card system so that if someone doesn’t understand something they can ask. Everyone at the meeting is encouraged to think about saying things as simply as they can. We work with members to produce the easy-read minutes that all Board members work from.

Once a year we meet with the Senior Leadership Team from Cheshire West and Chester council.
This is an opportunity for members to inform the Council about some of the work they have been involved with.
And if they have any issues they need help to resolve. We work together to find positive solutions.
We work closely with advocacy groups from Vivo Care Choices and our members across Cheshire West and Chester.
