I was working as a Project Manager in Manchester when I realised I wanted a job working with people instead. In 2009 I moved to Cheshire,
became a support worker for adults with learning disabilities and love every minute of it! I get to support people to live their lives how they want to, and to help them achieve their goals.

A little later I met Ali through work and we set up See Communications together in 2014 to work on Easy Read Information – we both feel strongly that accessible information should be available to everyone. We knew nothing about running a company but with help along the way have become a
not for profit Community Interest Company which I am really proud of.

So now I split my time between being a support worker, doing Easy Read work and running the Peoples Choice Group alongside Ali, covering the
Northwich and Winsford areas. That plus gardening, walking my rescue dog and occasional medieval re-enactments!
